Conference Objectives

The 6th Rozzano Locsin Institute International Conference aims to advance the theoretical understanding of caring in nursing, integrate technology with human connection in healthcare, build inclusive communities addressing health inequities, foster evidence-based practice, and inspire leadership in AI-integrated environments.

Keynote Speakers

Rozzano Locsin, PhD, RN, FAAN

Professor of Nursing

Dr. Locsin is a pioneering nursing theorist and the foundational mind behind the theory of Technological Competency as Caring in Nursing (TCCN). He also serves as Professor Emeritus at the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University, USA.

Tetsuya Tanioka, RN, PhD, FAAN

Professor of Nursing

Dr. Tanioka serves as the Director of the Rozzano Locsin Institute (RLI). Based in Japan, he is a distinguished Professor at Tokushima University and plays a central role in guiding the institute's global academic and research initiatives.

Michael Joseph Diño, PhD, MAN, RN, LPT, FAAN, FFNMRCSI, ANEF, CPAHA

Associate Professor of Nursing

Dr. Diño is the Vice Director of the Rozzano Locsin Institute (RLI). He is a highly credentialed nursing leader, educator, and researcher, bringing extensive expertise and numerous prestigious international fellowships to the institute's leadership team.

Dr. Saori Iwamoto, RN, PHN, MSN, PhD

Professor

Dr. Iwamoto is a Professor at the Kobe City College of Nursing in Japan. As a local academic leader, she brings vital expertise in public health and nursing science to this year's conference host city.

Call for Abstracts & Manuscripts

Submit your abstracts and manuscripts to contribute to global nursing knowledge. Abstracts should be structured and no longer than 300 words. The deadline for abstract submissions is July 31, 2026, with notifications sent by August 10, 2026. Manuscripts can be submitted for publication opportunities in the Journal of Nursing Investigation and a special issue of the Journal of Healthcare Administration. The manuscript submission deadline is the end of October 2026.

Call for Research Abstracts

We invite researchers, educators, and nursing professionals to submit their research abstracts for poster or podium presentation consideration at the 6th RLI International Conference.

Submission Requirements

Please ensure your submission adheres to the following guidelines before uploading:

  • File Format: PDF document.

  • Word Limit: Strictly no more than 300 words.

  • Required Structure: Your abstract must clearly include the following sections:

    • Title

    • Author(s)

    • Affiliation

    • Abstract Body (divided into: Introduction/Background, Purpose, Methods, Outcomes, Conclusion)

    • Keywords

  • Submit Online: Please submit your details and upload your PDF abstract directly through our dedicated online form.

  • Wait for Confirmation: After completing the form and uploading your abstract, please wait to receive an official email confirmation from the organizing committee regarding the status of your submission.

  • Final Notification of Review Result: August 10, 2026

  • Registration Deadline for Presenters: September 30, 2026 (Note: Final presenters must register for the conference before this date to be included in the official program).

  • RLI will send a confirmation of registration and an invitation letter to those who have completed their registration and paid the participation fee.
